Innovative Consideration for the AEC Industry Post Covid-19
There are innovating and technological considerations that AEC businesses should consider relative to innovative and collaborative feasibilities. For the purpose of this research, the focus will be on exploring merging innovative technology within the AEC industry. Furthermore, this research will focus on small and medium (SM) AEC innovative considerations for error reduction, efficiency, and collaborative feasibility. More specifically, this research explores the usage of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) to promote team remote collaboration, feasibility and error reduction.
Organizational Challenges Post Covid-19
The disruption caused by technology and now the pandemic has increased the need for wider implementations of innovative collaborative methods. Facing new pressures of uncertainties and constraints, organizations must embrace change to strategically keep up with an ever-changing, uncertain, and competitive world. Although some organizations are hesitant to change, innovative organizational change should be inevitable towards project feasibility and strategic intent of innovative performance, collaboration, and competitive increase (Spector, 2013).
